The Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government has responsibility for the sustainable and efficient delivery of well-planned homes and effective Local Government.   Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Quantity Surveyor, the successful candidate will become a vital part of a multidisciplinary team, providing professional and technical advice to ensure the development of a high quality and sustainable social housing programme.   The successful candidate will hold a qualification at minimum Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying. S/he must be eligible for inclusion on the register of Quantity Surveyors. In addition, the successful candidate will have significant practical experience in a senior technical position and have a high standard of technological training and experience.
