Location: Cluain Mhuire, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, Co Dublin. Cluain Mhuire is a national centre of innovation in public mental health service provision, delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of approximately 195,000 people; a regional Early Intervention Psychosis Service; and a Liaison Service to both St Columcille’s and St Michael’s Hospitals.  GENERAL ADULT CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST. With special responsibility for gender services. (Permanent/Full-Time. Ref: ADULT_GACP_L_20180902. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above post which is designated for the development of a national service for patients referred from primary care and community psychiatric services throughout the Republic of Ireland for assessment of gender related issues. The successful candidate will work as part of multidisciplinary team with the existing consultant liaison psychiatrist, endocrinologists and other clinicians in St Columcille’s Hospital in Loughlinstown. The following professional qualifications and experience apply to this appointment: •Must be included on the Specialist Division of the Register of Psychiatrists maintained by the Irish Medical Council. •Experience of working in a Transgender service is also desirable.
