Software Engineering Team Lead. We are seeking a strong Software Engineer, with extensive experience working with ++ and Python, to lead a small team of engineers within a global hardware company. This will ideally suit someone who likes to lead from the front, keeping your hands-on skills up-to-date, with an eye for detail and thoroughness to ensure correct code is delivered first time. You'll be part of building a new team, heavily involved in the hiring, which will commence immediately following your start (so no waiting around for months for the resources to actually build the team!) Primary duties include: Management of a small team of software engineers to develop high quality software components. The team will be responsible for software design, implementation, testing, debugging and support, initially you will have a very hands on role, moving towards focusing on more and more of the management side as the team grows. Experience Required: Experience as a software engineering Team Lead/Manager. At least 7 years hands on ++ experience. Solid experience with Python. Ability to work independently within a multi-disciplinary team. A good understanding of revision control concepts, preferably with Git. Experience working within an Agile environment.
