A global freight forwarding company is currently hiring a Quality Controller to work in their logistics division with responsibility for regulatory processes and procedures. Role: Provision of administration support while maintaining the QMS(Quality Management System) in compliance to regulatory standards in line with IS EN ISO 9001:2015. Execution of Quality Management System process controls within the organisation and that of sub contract service providers. Responsibilities: Preparation, review and control of standard operating procedure documentation. Maintaining quality management system targets in terms of KPI’s relative to performance of quality within key department functions. Scheduling of training in line with regulatory requirements. Scheduling and conduct of internal and external audits within operations and key sub contract service providers. Liaise with senior management teams to identify and execute risk management plans with defined actions and targets. Liaise with key account customers in terms of quality performance and defining quality expectations in terms of service provision. Monitor change in regulation controls and assist with the implementation of all such changes. Preparation of agenda, review and support of quality management meetings. Preparation and participation of regulator and customer quality inspections. Skills and Requirements: 2-3 Years experience within a Quality and or Compliance Role. Experience in Shipping / Logistics preferable. Strong Administration background with high level of written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a quality team. Remuneration: Salary commensurate with position. Private health insurance. Pension scheme. 20 Days holidays per annum.
