My client, a Dublin based pharmaceutical company have a new opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison. Provide field-based medical support in Ireland. Respond to requests for information regarding on-and off-label uses of company products. Develop and maintain expert scientific knowledge of relevant disease areas for in order to facilitate projects. Report Drug Safety and/or Product Quality issues to regulatory staff. Main Responsibilities. Develop local knowledge of KOLs (and relationships with) within the appropriate disease area for the purpose of enhancing the scientific knowledge of company and supporting research and nominating suitable external expertise for projects (e.g. advisory boards and educational programmes. Maintain knowledge (including the IPHA Code) by attending relevant courses/conferences. Feedback on competitor activities. Assist in the training of staff in relevant therapy areas and procedures. Assist with local formulary documents, specifically to assess the accuracy of the scientific /clinical data content. Assist with service evaluations and clinical trials where appropriate. Support speaker training of the data and science behind company products. Act in compliance within the overall company quality principles, values, and applicable policies of the Group including written procedures, e.g. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the IPHA Code. Attend conferences/stand meetings when required. Requirements. A scientific or medical university degree or post graduate. Pharmacy degree, MD or PhD desirable. Experience of Healthcare in an Irish setting, including HSE structure and patient pathways. Experience and understanding of IPHA code and working within it. Fluent in English language and excellent report writing skills. Flexibility to travel within Ireland and Europe. Full Irish driving licence. Ability to multitask. Innovative & Clever.
