Project Manager. Working as a member of the global team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a strong portfolio of growth companies within the biopharmaceutical sector as these companies build out their investments and employment numbers, alongside an ongoing transformation agenda with existing clients within the portfolio. This role provides an excellent opportunity to a highly skilled and motivated candidate to assist in the continued growth of the biopharma sector in Ireland. Key Responsibilities. Assume responsibility for and manage a portfolio of key biopharmaceutical clients across segments; Design and implement a plan to pursue and convert opportunities winning new expansion and RD&I investments in line with Divisional and Organisational targets; To identify, network and develop relationship with key business owners, decision makers and influencers within client companies in order to secure investments; To research, prepare and present investment proposals and other documents to the Board, internal Committees and relevant external fora as appropriate; To work with the global team to capture and develop an in-depth knowledge of the underlying trends and dynamics of the sector / sub-sectors and ensure business and functional area knowledge is used to support the growth of the business; To represent Biopharma in the broader ecosystem and stakeholder community working as a partner and influencer towards the achievement of organisational goals; To work effectively with the regional team in the achievement of the Division’s regional targets under the Winning strategy; To maintain and update information on existing companies, target companies and industry trends using CRM; To work closely with the Global team in the continuous development and provision of new value propositions, marketing material and the preparation and implementation of itineraries that enhances our ability to win new forms of FDI; To drive effective client engagement in Ireland and overseas through regular and extensive client meetings and marketing programmes; To motivate, support, develop and lead a team of executives in the achievement of Divisional targets; To contribute to the overall management and development of the Division as part of the its management team; As part of the management team , to adhere to the Health & Safety legislation and to ensure employee safety at all times; To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and constructive participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process; To demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks as may be assigned. A full driving licence is essential; Ability to work well under pressure; A third level science qualification, to a minimum of degree level, is desirable and/or relevant business experience; Overseas experience is desirable; This role will require international & domestic travel and flexible working hours; Ongoing flexibility and interest in international career progression and development is required.
