Our client is a highly specialised organisation, focused on the research and development of scientific products for distribution globally. They are seeking a driven, career-focussed Accounts Assistant, with previous accounts payable experience to join their Finance Team based in Clonskeagh. This business is growing at a rapid rate and due to this, there are significant career prospects for the right candidate. This is a part-time role worked over 20 hours per week. The Role. This role would suit a highly motivated individual with a thirst for knowledge and the ability to work on your own initiative in a highly organised and efficient manner. The responsibilities of your role as Accounts Executive are as follows: Approval and processing creditors invoices & credit notes. Month-end creditor reconciliation. Monthly payment runs. Administration of foreign currency contracts and payments to suppliers. Processing sales invoices. Processing of general ledger transactions. Reconciliation of bank accounts. Preparation of VAT and other statistical returns. Assistance in account reconciliations and analysis for management & statutory reporting. Month End Process and preparation of Monthly & Quarterly Management Reports. Recording and reconciling all petty cash transactions. Visa files and staff expenses. Private healthcare administration. Assisting with Pension Scheme administrator. General office administration/telephone answering, as required. The Person. To be considered for this Accounts Assistant opportunity you will: Possess 2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable/Accounts Assistant role. Be highly motivated to learn and get involved in all areas of accounting to increase your knowledge. Have strong attention to detail, and an ability to work with substantial amounts of data accurately and efficiently. Be capable of meeting deadlines under pressure.
