Our client is a billion-dollar pharmaceutical company specialising in the treatment of debilitating diseases. Based in the Dublin region, the company has a strong portfolio across oncology, neurology and endocrinology. They are seeking a Purchasing Manager to join their Supply Chain team, reporting directly to the Senior Leadership team. As Purchasing Manager, you will: Manage a team of 3 procurement professionals. Have full responsibility for a spend budget across equipment purchases and upgrades, land acquisitions and facility revamps. Play a critical role in the facilitating the expansion of our client's operations onsite. Be the lead for cost savings within the capex budget. Join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, currently undergoing a lot of changes across the entire organisation. The ideal candidate will have 5 years' purchasing experience, preferably across both direct and indirect materials with some exposure to capital expenditure projects. The ideal background will be from the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device sector. Successful candidates must have previous management experience and proficient SAP skills. This is a permanent position, with the possibility for rapid career growth within the organisation.
