ROLE OVERVIEW. We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Sales & Business Development Manager to join our national team. The ideal candidate will be from an ICT background with direct sales experience to SMB customers and strong financial and commercial awareness. Your primary role as Sales & Business Development Manager will be to seek new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and converting opportunities into delivering growing revenues and market share. The successful candidate is expected to apply an effective sales strategy, achieve/exceed sales and growth targets for market segment by winning new customers and retention and growth of existing customers in the region. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to develop the business strategy and exceed sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. The role will need to interact with others across functional lines of responsibility and be a champion for customers and sales growth throughout the business in order to have the greatest overall impact on company results. The goal is to drivesustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with customers. Ultimately, you will contribute to our long-term business growth. PROFILE. The successful candidate will display the following attributes: Education & Key Experience: 3+ years of sales experience required, preferably in the Business Development role in the IT or ICT sector with regional or national scope. Direct sales experience to mid-sized corporate customers required. Successful proven track record of new business developments, identifying and converting the opportunities and delivering growing revenues and market share. Eager to expand company with new sales, customers and territories. A strong financial and commercial awareness with experience to negotiate complex deals successfully, ability to work in fast paced and dynamic environment. Experience working with a CRM, preferably SalesForce. Technical Skills: Good level of IT awareness, an understanding of Apple products, processes and services would be useful, although full training will be given. Ability to understand and articulate customer issues and requirements and match those needs to the design and provision of a compelling IT services proposition. Behavior Skills: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner and to adapt personal style and approach to successfully influence others. Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal, with ability to negotiate and sell in a competitive environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively. Strong customer focus mind-set to exceed customers’ expectations through exceptional service. Display good judgement and problem solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office, especially in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Flexible approach to work, ability to work outside normal office hours if necessary. A high degree of reliability, flexibility, professionalism and confidentiality. Goal-oriented, self-motivated and self-directed, highly competitive with a passion to succeed in the career. Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative under minimal supervision with the upmost professionalism and integrity. Ambitious, persistent and determined – with a high level of energy and enthusiasm and a strong desire to succeed. You must have a full and clean valid Irish driving licence and be a car owner.
