My client, a first class pharmaceutical manufacturing company have a new vacancy for a Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager is a key member of the Finished Goods Manufacturing (FGM) IE Supply Chain Management Team and the Site Management Team. You will report directly to the Supply Chain Director FGM IE. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Packaging Warehouse, Raw Materials Warehouse and the Distribution Department. Key Responsibilities: Ensure a safe working environment for all Warehouse and Distribution Personnel. Ensure compliance with cGMP and GDP within the Warehouse function. From the Site and Logistics annual goals develop and agree clear team goals for the Warehouse Supervisory Team annually and follow-up on delivery progress regularly. Identify, monitor and act on key KPI. Set and agree the Warehouse Rolling Budget with the Supply Chain Director and follow-up through monthly reporting with Finance to ensure adherence to budget. Identify and implement operational efficiencies that result in a reduction of the cost base of the Warehouse. Ensure that the Warehouse Network is loaded to. Communicate Warehouse performance and strategy effectively to your peers and to the Senior Leadership Team. Drive SAP improvements in Warehouse working with the other sites and the Centre of Excellence Team. Lead and participate in Group Projects. Ensure that buildings/facilities are to the required standard. Ensure that the Warehouse function raise and close out deviations and CAPAs in a timely manner. Support Iron Mountain document archive processes on site. Attitude and Behaviours. A can do attitude and enthusiasm for driving improvements. A strong understanding of cGMP & GDP and a right first time approach. A confident team player who can work with a high degree of autonomy. Experience in performance management and providing feedback to personnel on their performance. Ability to work in a matrix organisation to leverage expertise from other functions and departments/sites. Qualifications & Experience: Third level degree or equivalent in a scientific, chemical or engineering discipline is desirable. 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment within the pharmaceutical industry. Either have, or be prepared to gain, Responsible Person (RP) status to act as RP/Deputy RP for the Distribution Department.
