My client a tech MNC based in Dublin 4 currently have a requirement for a qualified accountant to join their growing team. Within this role you will be involved in all monthly US GAAP and statutory reporting for a number of international entities. RESPONSIBILITIES. •Prepares monthly US GAAP accounts for a number of international entities. •Maintains the accounting subsystems including Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger. •Participate in special projects such as establishing new international subsidiaries, process improvements and implementation, accounting for and/or integrating acquisitions. •Review and co-ordinate payables transactions (invoices and expenses. •Prepares general ledger journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis. •Performs financial analysis (actual versus budget and prior periods) of international subsidiaries. •Ensures company’s international policies and procedures. •Prepares annual statutory accounts and audit schedules, ensuring the validity and completeness of account balances. •Primary contact with external auditors. REQUIREMENTS. •Qualified accountant with 3 years within a similar role in a multi-national. Will also consider Audit seniors from Big 4 or Top 10 who have worked with Tech clients. •Proficiency in financial reporting systems. •Preparation of accounts and all month end duties.
