My client, a leading pharmaceutical company based in South Dublin, are recruiting for a Documentation Lead . This role will be within the Production Support department. Reporting to the Production Support Manager, the successful candidate will supervise and support all operations in production documentation control, review and reconciliation. You will supervise and organise for success a team of support staff who will play an essential part in driving improvements in cGMP, reducing batch lead-time, reducing waste and fostering a right-first-time culture within production. The successful candidate will liaise closely with the Production Business Units as well as the Quality, Technical Services and Logistics functions and other technical support groups. The ideal candidate will possess the following: A strong understanding of cGMPs and a right first time approach. Output & results-focused to ensure the team meets schedule adherence and performance targets. Proven ability to lead by example and have a can do attitude with an enthusiasm for driving improvements. Comply with Health & Safety, Environmental, cGMP regulations and company standards. Experience in performance management and providing feedback to personnel on their performance. Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and structured approach to work. Demonstrated capabilities in problem solving through lean methodologies. Demonstrated capabilities in developing and implementing continuous improvement action plans. Demonstrated capabilities in interacting effectively with executive, operator and craft groups so that they become committed to improving performance. Flexibility to support areas outside of his/her role in order to meet department goals. Desired skills and experience: The ideal candidate will have a third level qualification (NFQ Level 8 or higher) in a relevant discipline, and/or a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and strong understanding of pharmaceutical GMP are essential. Experience in managing a team of people is essential. Knowledge of bulk production, filling and packaging processes and techniques would be an advantage.
