The Noel Group are currently hiring Health care Assistants for full time roles , for a beautiful Care Home located in Dublin. The job requires the ideal candidate to fulfil day and night shifts and candidates must be highly motivated and interested in working in the Care of the Elderly. Salary: DOE. Contract: Full time. Benefits: Uniform provided and free staff parking. Skills and Certifications required: Must be Garda Vetted. Must have an up to date Patient Handling certificate. Must have your Fetac Level 5 completed. Must have QQI 5 completed. Experience in a Care Home is beneficial. Must have up to date vaccinations. Must have a valid Work Permit/Visa (if applicable. Must have your Infection Control course completed. Must be able to provide 2 written references. Must have a fluent level of English. Responsibilities of the role: Undertake hygiene and dress care functions for residents. Delivery of food to and feeding of resident. Assisting trained nurses with provision of psychological and social support as needed. Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to residents, whilst promoting their equality and dignity at all times. Carry out assigned and delegated tasks involving direct care and activities under the direction and supervision of the Care Manager. Act as the named Health care Assistant for specific residents as allocated by the Care Manager. Respect the privacy and dignity of all residents and promote their independence.
