Role Summary: A Warehouse Operations Manager is required for a growing food company. This is an ideal opportunity to join a growing business. Role & Responsibilities: Managedaily operations of the warehouse and distribution of the product. Ensure effective processes and procedures are in place. Liaisewith department heads – Sales, Buyer, Accounts, HR, Logistics and Warehouse. Planning company activities; Driver schedule, Roaster Warehouse operatives, Manage all costs and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies. Manage company property such as Van, telecommunication devices, and laptops. Manage business procurements – Vehicles, Forklifts, Trolleys, Uniforms, boxes etc. Ensure processes around Health and Safety, Q mark, Review EOD’s, POD,s Margin Reports, Waste Reports, Costs per delivery etc. Knowledge & Experience: Knowledge/understanding of HACCP principles and / or BRC standards. I.T. Literate, word, excel, email. Previous experience in a fast paced factory/refrigerated environment is desirable. Good decision-making skills and ability to work on own initiative. Excellent communication skills. Reliable and hard-working; 'Hands On' style necessary. Food Safety training experience.
