On behalf of our client, a global pharmaceutical company, we are currently recruiting for a RA Compliance Team Leader. To support the RA Manager and Head of RA with regard to team activities, workload and strategy. Duties. Complete all general RA activities as per Senior RA Officer job specification. Lead and assist a team of Regulatory Affairs Officers. Negotiate, communicate and represent RA Compliance effectively with other functions. Assessment, monitoring and distribution of monthly targeted activities within the team. Close cooperation with internal / external stakeholders to support Compliance processes. Assist manager with on-going evaluation and appraisal of departmental metrics e.g. Change Controls. Exception reporting; identify and address key business process issues in good time. Ensuring Quality and Regulatory procedures are developed / adhered to. Reporting team status at regular intervals to RA Manager. Leading / driving key projects within the team. Support and mentoring of team members. Facilitating regular team meetings. Requirements. Bachelors or Post Graduate degree in science. Life sciences (BSc in Chemistry/ Biology, etc.) or pharmacy degree. 4-5 year experience in a regulatory affairs environment. 4-5 year experience in, and general knowledge of, the pharmaceutical industry. Proven track record of leadership abilities and competencies. Lead by example, take ownership and accountability for activities. Self-starter, results and performance driven. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. A solutions provider with strong multi-tasking abilities. Ability to lead and support several concurrent projects/products with strong customer focus. Develop strong productive relationships in a multi-functional, fast paced international environment. Highly motivated to meet role requirements and to cope under demanding pressure. Ability to prioritise decisions and address critical issues impacting the business. Ability to influence and partner with cross-site teams in a global pharmaceutical organisation. Honest and trustworthy, respectful and highly personable. Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity. Communication, presentation and decision making skills. Problem solving and conflict handling skills. Occasional travel may form part of the job.
