Our client, a global hardware leader, is currently building a new software development team to join their R&D team in Dublin. As part of this team, we are seeking two Software Engineers, capable of conducting high level software engineering work, with guidance provided on unusual features or on complex tasks. You will be reporting directly to the Software Team Lead, and will have support from a Principal Engineer and two Senior Engineers to help build your skills and further your development as a software engineer. While this position requires two years of commercial experience, one of the vacancies could potentially be filled at graduate level, though this would require a highly relevant final project, heavily focused on ++ or Embedded Engineering. Requirements: A good understanding of software development techniques and practices. At least 2 years’ solid software engineering experience using ++ Strong candidates with less experience will be considered for a Graduate SW Engineer role. Ability to work with and respond quickly to evolving requirements. Ability to work independently within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists. Desirable: A good understanding of revision control concepts and practices. Experience with one or more scripting languages, preferably Python and / or Bash. Experience using C# Experience using SQL.
