On behalf of my client, an early stage global contract research organization, I am recruiting for a Senior Marketing Manager. This is a permanent role, ideally based in Dublin. In this role you will be responsible for the European marketing function including: Manage the European marketing function to achieve business performance, obtain maximum value and identify new opportunities to increase market share. Collaborate in the development and implementation of strategies, portfolio development plans and positioning and messaging plans. Develop, implement and measure tactical marketing plans to support and achieve business goals and objectives. Assist in the development of short and long-range operating objectives and achieve these objectives. Work with Product Management to prepare detailed competitive market analyses and strategic options to grow marketing share including modelling of alternative business scenarios. With Product Management and US-based marketing, develop and execute new product/program commercialization plans for EU. Candidates with the following background and experience are invited to apply for this role: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in marketing or technical discipline or related discipline. MBA preferred. Five to seven years related experience or equivalent in a combination of marketing, product management, communications and business management positions within a technical environment (e.g., biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device company, hospital, or laboratory. Proven ability to creatively develop and execute business to business product (service) marketing strategies. Knowledge of marketing concepts and techniques. Proven ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams to achieve established goals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
