Commercial Manager / Business Development Manager. Our client are currently hiring a full-time Commercial Manager to help grow their business, primarily focused in the Sports and Recreational Sector situated in North Dublin. This is the perfect opportunity for the ideal candidate to positively influence a growing business, establish a long standing close relationship with the Managing Partners and gain knowledge in sales and marketing. The Role. Report directly to the Managing Partners while working closely alongside them to grow the business in a positive way. Plan, organise and oversee events on a seasonal basis. Put a huge focus on Sales and Marketing to drive business's profits. Responsible for taking online bookings for courses and events. Responsible for the forward planning to identify any opportunities or threats for the business. Effectively use commercial analysis, discuss and implement any changes that would have a positive effect on the business. 5 over 7 days - weekend work will be required depending on the needs of the business. Skills required. Must be self-motivated and must have excellent initiative. Knowledge or background in sports is desirable. Must be extremely organised (experience in event management is desirable. Must have a strong background of Sales. Must have a good knowledge of sales and marketing. Hospitality experience would be a bonus but not essential. Must have the ability to work towards a common goal and to build and grow the business.
