Project Manager (Biotechnology)
Project Manager (biotechnology) - Dublin. In this role you will be responsible for: • Project Planning and Management – Support the CTO to define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects. • CTO Support – Support the CTO in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, mnaging stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance. Also prepare documents and presentations for grant applications, interim reports and deliverable presentations. • Process Management and Improvement – Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile (or hybrid) Project Management. Interested applicants should have: • Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, IT or technology related qualification (Master's a plus. • Expert knowledge in both Scrum/Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together to fit a project and business environment. • Ability to deal with people at all levels of the organisation. • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written. • Deep interest in biotech environment. • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining "Big Picture" thinking. • Fast paced, able to manage competing demands. • Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills. • Strong collaboration skills. • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools such as Jira/Confluence.
