Description

A client in Dublin city centre are seeking a Software Tester on an initial 12 month contract. You will be responsible for the development and enhancement of all current and new systems to support the business strategy for the company. The role is to own and execute the quality assurance function for all core systems. Day to day you will be: Working closely with the Head of IT in the ongoing development and maintenance of the CRM systems with particular emphasis on the assessment component. Working in the ongoing change agenda involving new projects and enhancement of current system. Working with the Head of IT and Developers to ensure the Project Plans are delivered for users within agreed time lines. Analysing Users stories and use cases requirements for validity and feasibility of any change agenda to systems. Developing detailed test plans demonstrating a thorough understanding of the business impacts. Executing all levels of testing to include system, Integration and regression testing. Detecting and tracking software defects and inconsistencies and providing timely solutions. Applying quality engineering principals throughout the change projects. Responsible for the documenting of requirements for future systems and reporting development, in consultation with the Head of IT and the Business owner. Maintaining a set of ISO flowcharts for processes pertaining to the systems function. Collaborating closely with other team members and departments. Knowledge and Experience: 3+ years experience as a Software Tester. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Experiences in building complex test plans. Experience in data or business analysis. Academic industry experience would beneficial but not essential. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance. Understanding of the impact of the Business success from this role. Critical thinker and problem solving skills. Team player.
