Communications, Marketing & Outreach Coordinator. Location: North Dublin. Salary: €30-35K. Car owner required as travel necessary in the role. Hours: 9am-5pm with flexibility to work additional hours (evenings & weekends), as required for seminars, conferences, meetings etc. Our client, a recognised voluntary national representative body supporting Post Primary education in Ireland is seeking to hire an experienced Communications & Events Coordinator . The role is a proactive and hands-on role managing the communications, events and outreach activities for the organisation. The ideal candidate will have min 4-5 years experience working in the field of communications within an NGO or commercial environment. Fluent English is critical along with strong oral and written communication skills. A 3rd level qualification is desirable but, not essential. Requirements: Min 5 years relevant experience working in the field of communications and outreach with NGO or commercial organisation. Fluent English is critical and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong judgement and a high level of confidentiality. Confident with strong interpersonal skills – ability to work independently and manage time effectively while remaining a team player. Ability to build and nurture strong working relationships. Competent and creative proficiency in IT literacy. Experience in the area of corporate membership development, engagement and retention would be an advantage. Possess a pro-active approach to the development of the organisation. A self-starter with an outgoing personality. Mature outlook and approach. A dynamic, astute and enthusiastic professional who is keen to make a real difference within a voluntary organisation. Familiar with post primary education in Ireland and be sensitive to the concerns & needs of internal/external partners and clients. Ideally you will have experience and demonstrable track record of delivering change and enhancements within previous roles. Areas of Responsibilities: Working with the development management team and executive to define, plan and execute communication and outreach strategy to drive and underpin effectiveness of operations and company profile enhancement. This will include identifying campaign objectives and KPIs and regular reporting to the board. Development of integrated communication programmes and campaigns with the constituent body offices/personnel. Leading and coordinating key stakeholders within the organisation to communicate and become a fully engaged link with external parties and partners in Post Primary education. Creating a program of activity, throughout the organisation, to live up to this vision that has a consistent tone and content strategy across all of our communication channels. Implementing media marketing to increase visibility, profile and traffic across all appropriate platforms including online and social media. Capturing, creating and providing engaging and relevant content while tracking metrics, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success. Working with all Constituent Bodies to explore and identify ways to integrate effective communications, campaigns and strategy. Assist towards the development of a Link Programme to support integrated communication and operations between numerous associated bodies. Creation, development and organisation of events and seminars to support & promote the organisation - travel required. Website maintenance including liaising with web agency, graphic designers and other 3rd parties.
