Sales & Marketing Manager, Luxury 4* Hotel, Dublin. Our Client, a Luxury 4* Hotel based in Dublin have an exciting new opportunity for a talented, revenue focused Sales and Marketing Manager to join their team. The sales and marketing manager will manage and work closely with a team of 6, including Revenu / Reservation Manager & Sales Manager and will report directly to the General Manager. Main Responsibilites: To oversee the Revenue/Reservations function of the Hotel, ensuring that the Hotel is correctly distributing rates, implementing effective rate management, producing accurate reporting and forecasting, sourcing new opportunities to distribute, manage the distribution landscape with the Hotel PMS, Channel Manager, Distribution Channels. To write the Room Revenue budget and the C&B budget on an annual basis with the General Manager and Financial Controller, and presenting this to the Hotel Proprietors. To communicate the Rooms Budget and C&B Budget to the Revenue/Reservations Team and Sales & Marketing Team, gaining their buy-in and ensuring they are fully involved and committed to achieving the budget. To plan and manage the Hotel Rates annually for all Market Segments to support achieving the rooms budget, with the agreement of the General Manager. To produce weekly and monthly reports for the Hotel Proprietors with relevant revenue information and new business booked and sales and marketing activities. Produce monthly analytical reports on the business booked via the various distribution channels (GDS/Website/OTA's) and to use this information to manage future demand and costs. To monitor revenue per market segment, identifying opportunities for growth and focusing the team effort to increase revenue growth. To manage the relationship with our Global Distribution Supplier "Pegasus" ensuring they facilitating the Hotel to capture our fair share of the Dublin GDS market, optimizing growth and representing the Hotel to the best potential. Manage any GDS advertising in conjunction with Pegasus. To monitor STR performance in the market and understanding the significant influences on the report, and adapting future decisions based on past performance. Overall responsible for the updating and implementation of ISO for the Sales & Marketing Department and Revenue/Reservations and ensuring the departments pass all audits. To oversee the quoting of all group accommodation and Conference & Banqueting business coming into the Hotel. Ensuring that it is well managed, focusing on increasing the conversion level of enquiries to confirmed business for the Hotel. To ensure that the payment and billing for all group and individual accommodation and conference business into the Hotel is well managed, eliminating financial risk to the Hotel. To ensure there is clear and timely communication with the Reception Team with a specific focus on rates, availability, dealing with enquiries and anything relevant to Sales & Marketing, particularly when outside of office hours. To plan and manage the Sales & Marketing Budget each year, ensuring that all spend is offering maximum benefit to the Hotel. To prospect for new corporate accounts, connecting and networking with key relevant contacts to secure the business. To nurture and develop existing Corporate Accounts and to ensure that the Hotel is securing the optimal business levels from existing accounts. To participate in trade shows domestically and internationally promoting the Hotel and securing business. To be familiar with outside factors that may affect the Hotels business. To conduct sales site inspections of the Hotel. Responsible for the hotel database and ensure that it is kept up to date and that we are using the database to increase business in relevant segments. Planning of advertising campaigns and purchasing the most competitive rates for campaigns. Dealing with our Website Company and ensuring that we are competing with the OTA's and have compelling offers available online. Oversee the Digital Marketing campaigns of the Hotel. Ensure that all Hotel Branding is in line with the agreed brand guidelines set, managing all print work with logos required, updating as necessary and liaising with the printers/designers as necessary. Manage all print work in the hotel - bedroom directory, Guest Registration Cards etc. Ensure all marketing collateral is updated frequently - information pack, power point presentation etc. Manage the team, appraising performance, clear communication, and ensuring a positive working environment is created to excel.
