Description

This is a key positon within the Procurement team where you will lead the marketing category & all associated supplier sourcing & negotiations. You will aim to negotiate the best commercial terms with suppliers for your stakeholders. You will lead sourcing activities for the marketing (mktg) category, Manage suppliers for all 3rd party spend & managing corporate governance. The mktg. category will oversee customer engagement & cost control with creative agencies & media buying across multiple channels & mktg. technology providers. Key Responsibilities. Speedily prioritise & deliver commercial & contractual negotiations against agreed targets; and own the procurement lifecycle & risk. Drive cost reduction via process & contract efficiencies. Build rel'ships with existing & potential suppliers ensuring in mktg. category. Work with suppliers ensuring quality, cost, minimum risk & continuity of supply. Liaising with multiple s/holders, managing supplier contracts. Highlight risk & supply issues to senior stakeholders & change. Have meetings with suppliers inc. other stakeholder. Produce mgt. info ensuring account achievements & challenges met. Build strong rel'ships with internal s/holders & external vendors. Essential Skills & Experience. Experience in a fast-paced marketing category mgt. Digital mktg. exp of programmatic buying, ad-serving & platform providers. Know the media buying & creative agencies. Self-starter managing multiple projects. 5 years outsourcing,commercial/technical exp. in an online media/environment. Solid & demonstrable Vendor mgt. Team player with excellent comm. & negotiation skills. Engage & influence at all levels & engage effectively with a wider team. Full understanding of RFI/RFP & all tender processes & ensuring SLA's, KPI's compliance. Analytical & problem solving skills based on a data driven approach. Desirable Skills & Experience. Experience negotiating with marketing depts; advertising agencies; google, facebook; media companies etc and understand marketing terminology. Understanding of legal frameworks & contract law. Undertaking market research & analysis across indirect & direct spend. Knowledge of web based IT infrastructure & financial reporting tools. Understand & manage corporate risk profile.
