Position: Lead MRI / CT Radiographer. Location: Dublin North or Dublin South centre. Type of role: Full time, permanent. Working hours: 9am-5pm/8am-4pm, Monday - Friday. Job description: As a Lead MRI / CT Radiographer you will be responsible for the delivery of a professional and comprehensive Radiography service and overall daily running of the full Radiology service MRI/CT and Dexa. You will have an opportunity to work with the best qualified medical and technical professionals. Your profile: Third level degree BSc in Radiography or Equivalent. Post grad qualification in MRI. Active registration with CORU, or final stages of registration process. Must have a min of 6 years Post Grad experience. You will have previous experience in leading/managing/inspiring a team of MRI Radiographers. You will have experience influencing change and excellence in a clinical environment. You will have solid communication and articulation skills as well as the ability to multi- task. You will have proven experience working in a target driven & results orientated department. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to build and maintain professional relationship with all levels within the department. You will have ability to work under pressure, manage clinical and non-clinical situations. What will be expected of you: The main responsibility is to manage, plan, organise and co-ordinate all aspects of the services. Support the Radiographers in their duties, training requirements, day to day tasks to produce a high quality radiography service. Provide training to the required staff including radiographers and administration staff. To support and further develop a culture of continuous practice development (CPD) that is supported by education/training, research and audit supporting staff to keep up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques. You will be familiar with, and abide by, all Health and Safety Rules and recommendations.
