Description

NCHD, REGISTRAR & SHO IN REHABILITATION MEDICINE. Required Qualifications. Before taking up the post: Each successful candidate must be registered in the Register of Medical Practitioners, maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland, in accordance with the Medical Practitioners Act 2007 by 8th July 2019 or earlier to take up appointment from that time. Have up to date ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification or be willing to undertake a course on same as soon as possible. Desirable Core Skills/Personal Attributes: • Excellent clinical background and rehabilitation experience across all programmes. • Ability to demonstrate self sufficiency & a good working knowledge of various information technology programmes including Word, Excel & PowerPoint. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrates the ability to disseminate information to relevant project stakeholders.  • Ability to present ideas with clarity and prepare clear, concise and informative reports, presentations, correspondence and other written materials. • Demonstrates ability to work well within a team and with other key stakeholders at a variety of levels and in different settings/scenarios. • Ability to manage complex issues/problems. • Good time management skill is essential and the ability to work in high pressure environment. • Able to motivate self and others. • Ability to communicate effectively with other agencies, both internal and external at a variety of levels. • Sufficient command of the English language to effectively carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role.
