Head of Learning & Development. Sanderson is working in partnership with its large market leading City Centre based finance client to recruit an experienced Head of Learning and Development. Our well established client is experiencing significant growth in their customer base with a significant portfolio under management across multiple sites. It is their vision to be the most trusted and reliable financial partners in the industry and to develop their people to reach their full potential. This is a new role and an opportunity for the right individual to establish a Learning and Development function. Key Responsibilities. Build and establish the Learning & Development Function. Partnering with key stakeholders to design and implement learning and talent development strategies that meet the needs of an evolving world class business. Design and deliver bespoke programmes (e.g. individual, team, skill-based and management training) that are best in class to ensure that people are on boarded, developed and engaged throughout the lifecycle. Design a promotion process that fits with the culture of always growing that puts its people and clients first. Build succession plans to ensure bench strength and have people ready for future roles. Provide support in building a technical and behavioural competency model that facilitates growth and development. Develop mentoring and coaching interventions. Lead on training on our Performance Management process to ensure it is understood, implemented and engages our people to achieve superior business results. Provide insight and direction to the Davy Respect and Inclusion strategy to ensure that the business objectives as set out in the R&I strategy are achieved. Provide input into business projects, taking a lead where appropriate under the direction of the CPO. Skills and Experience. Minimum 5 years' experience in a dynamic fast paced environment. Strong facilitation / communication skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders. Course design experience. Certification in psychometrics such as MBTi desirable.
