Description

My client is a well-known asset organisation based in Dublin city. Together we are seeking to hire a Legal Cousel on a 23-month contract basis. The legal Counsel will provide support to the Business with commercial contracts, third party client agreements, GDPR and where necessary provide BAU support to the Commercial operations team with general security, enforcement and operational queries. Primary focus is the timely delivery of key commercial objectives and mitigation of legal and regulatory risk across the business. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the commercial contracts process, mitigating risk and driving best business outcomes. • Work closely with business functions to draft and support the negotiation of complex contract agreements with clients and third-party servicers. • Guide the business functions with practical and solutions orientated advice whilst ensuring risks are mitigated. • Review existing contract templates. • Organization, updating and filing of documents. • Review legacy agreements to ensure compliance. • Keep up to date on existing law as required to determine its impact on agreements and the business. • Manage the swearing of affidavits when necessary. • Assist account managers with accounts within the legal process. • Communicate effectively to the business in relation to changes in legislation and legal policies. • Make recommendations on cases based on input from external solicitors and internal account reviews. • Ensure all tasks are conducted in a manner compliant with all policies, procedures and legislative requirements. • Involvement in a variety of projects as directed by Management Team which support the Pepper overall strategy. Skills & Experience: • Qualified Solicitor (essential. • 3-5 years PQE with a relevant practice background essential. • Commercial Contracts. • Third party service agreements. • GDPR. • Litigation / Enforcement. • Financial Services Regulatory. • framework CPC, SME, CCMA. Competencies: • The ability to assess and mitigate risk for the benefit of the organisation. • The ability to understand legislative and regulatory requirements and how they impact on the drafting of commercial contracts. • The ability to utilize IT, data processing, Excel ETC. to achieve required position outcomes. In return you will receive: 23 month contract. Salary €65k - €70k. Max 20% bonus. 23 days annual leave per annum plus 3 company days. LAYA Healthcare from day 1. Robust Further Education scheme.
