THE COMPANY/OPPORTUNITY: A rapidly growing pre-packed ready meal company in Dublin are currently recruiting for a QA Officer Founded over 30 years ago this organisation has an excellent track record of retaining their staff and in continually investing in the growth and development of their people. My client work supplies a large proportion of the major retail multiples as well as servicing a range of very large clients in the catering sector and they have become the market leader in their sphere by focusing on the quality of their products and also on the satisfaction of both their customers and their employees. THE JOB: Working in a large high-volume plant (over 400 people employed) as QA Officer your main remit will be to make sure that all products & processes are safe & fully compliant. Day to day some of the key elements of this exciting and career advancing QA job include. * Assisting in internal audits. * Helping with the execution and maintenance of GMP & HACCP systems. * Working closely with the QA Manager in the observation and reporting of quality standards. * Checking of the production process in line with factory HACCP & applying, monitoring and evaluation of corrective actions. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: To hit the ground running in the QA Officer role you will have previously worked in a food environment and hold a diploma or higher in a relevant discipline. Prior experience of BRC and attaining retailer standards would be hugely beneficial in the QA Officer role as would some experience/exposure to food processes & quality standards.
