Toolmaker - West Dublin. Key duties/responsibilities: • Assembly of mechanical tooling while following mechanical drawings. • Testing, troubleshooting and modification of tooling as required. • To ensure that each and every tool is validated and operational to ensure Right-First-Time product is delivered to the customer. • Fitting of tooling to machines as required. Interested applicants should have: • Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task. • Attention to quality and detail. • Ability to take ownership of one’s own work and self-manage schedules and deadlines. • Ability to work independently and self-direct, with minimum direction and in pressure situations. • Ability to understand mechanical drawings for tool assembly and machine maintenance. • Excellent communication skills. • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified fitter/toolmaker with a strong mechanical aptitude. • Excellent technical problem solving and fault finding skills. • Grinding skills essential.
