On behalf of my client, a global medical device company, I am recruiting for a Site Engineering Manager. This is a permanent role based in Dublin. As a member of the site leadership team you will report to the Site Director and you will be responsible for Facilities, Automation, Process, Tooling and Operational Excellence. If you have the following background and experience contact me today for a full Job Spec and company details: A minimum of a degree in a relevant Engineering discipline e.g. Mechanical, Manufacturing, Polymer etc. A leader who (for a minimum of 8 years) has led a multi-disciplined Engineering team in a high volume, highly technical manufacturing environment e.g. high-speed automation, robotics etc. Must have a proven track record of leading and implementing major business programs e.g. site expansions, new product introduction, technology advancement, LeanSigma etc. A leader who cultivates a culture of excellence, innovation and ‘can-do’ and who compliments team deficiencies as needs arise. Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, business partners, resource managers, and other global leaders. Recognized by customers and colleagues as a leader who delivers on commitments and solves complex business challenges. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to travel as required by the position. Must be able to organize and prioritise tasks, must be detail orientated and self-motivated.
