This position will report to the Chief Executive on the Financial Management Team. An excellent opportunity for someone to take the next step and move into a stand alone financial controller position, while still having all the necessary support. The Role. Control, responsibility and effective management for all the financial aspects of the company. Preparation of monthly management accounts and year end statutory accounts. Preparation of all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Finance Committee and the external auditors as necessary. Establish and management of procedures for budget and forecast preparation, and preparation of the annual budget in consultation with the Chief Executive and the senior management team. Direction, management and responsibility for the preparation of annual budgets. Serves as the Risk Officer, in accordance with the recommended best practices. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current data protection legislation. Support the management team through the timely and accurate production of financial reports and information, including fundraising progress reports and monthly budget monitor. Serves as the primary point of contact for the Finance Office on all financial charges. Skills/Experience. ACA/CIMA/CPA qualified. 3-5 years PQE. MBA desirable.
