Description

Area Sales and Operations Manager - Dublin Region. Our Client a leading provider of Building Supplies & DIY Materials to Trade and Public, are seeking to recruit a Area Sales/Operations Manager - designed to grow the level of business in the Dublin region. The focus is on increasing business through the Dublin West Branch , as well as any future branches in the Dublin Region. Working closely with the Senior Management, contribute and execute a strategic business plan to grow the Dublin area. Develop New Business with existing customers and potential new customers, focusing on targeting the cross selling of the company's entire range of products in both residential and commercial projects. Focus on mainstream building materials, working closely with Product Managers to grow sales in the areas of Heating & Plumbing and Roof Truss Manufacturing. The management and development of existing branch personnel including the existing branch management and internal sales team. Establishing and managing an effective Field Sales team focused on the generation of new business. Develop a good understanding of the companies operating procedures ensuring the branch and future branches in the Dublin region are operating to the highest standard operationally. Develop strong working relationships with building product suppliers to maximise sales opportunities. Experience and Attributes Required. A min.of 5 years of Senior Commercial experience covering Sales and Operations within the Builders Merchanting /Providers Sector. A proven track record of managing and developing Sales Teams. Result's driven person with a proven track record of meeting sales and margin targets, as well as delivering operational improvements. Good leadership and people management skills and an ability to maintain a positive team spirit. Culturally aware, with excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels within the company and able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, possess a high degree of numeracy and have good analytical skills.
