Tax Accountant | Insurance | 60k | Permanent position. My client, a very successful Irish insurance organisation has a requirement for a Tax Accountant. The successful candidate will be a qualified AITI account, and should ideally be coming from a Big 4 practice, with specific experience in taxation matters. The successful role holder will be able to demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills along with a proven ability to multi-task. Interviews will take place immediately. This position is based in Dublin City Centre and salary on this role ranges from 50k – 60k + Benefits. Responsibilities: • Providing support and tax technical advice to business divisions and management on a wide range of consultancy matters. • Assisting in the preparation and review of various tax returns and tax computations for the group. • Preparing and reviewing tax provisions to meet GWL’s quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements. • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with business units/divisions. • Keeping up to date with current tax legal/and regulatory requirements. Requirements: • A professional Accounting Qualification and AITI qualified. • The ability to work effectively and efficiently, both individually and as part of a team in a demanding environment whilst meeting tight deadlines. • Highly motivated with the ability to use initiative & demonstrate a willingness to learn.
