Are you a Social Worker with experience working in CAMHS? If you are an experienced CAMHS Social Worker looking for a role in a challenging, yet extremely rewarding environment? FRS Recruitment are delighted to be assisting a very well established CAMHS team in South Dublin to recruit a PQSW. A fulltime fixed term contract role working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, 37 hours per week. Summary: This Adolescent service has a multidisciplinary team of 25-30 personnel in provision of a mental health service to young people. There is a strong emphasis on standardised assessments, evidence-based practices, care program approaches, outcome parameters within an ethos of clinical governance. The Unit has strong collaborative links with the Hospital's initiative in First Onset Psychosis. This unfolds opportunities in terms of standardised assessments, evidenced-based interventions and research. The service runs an active programme, Monday-Friday, throughout the day, delivered by senior mental health professionals, with input from high and low stimulus groups. In essence, this is a curriculum of mental health, helping young people to understand and manage their mental health issues, drawing on the skills base of Psychiatry, Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Drama therapy, Art Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Teaching and Well Being Therapy in delivery of this programme. Registration with CORU essential. Proven experience working with mental health clients is essential for this role. Experience in psychiatry and working with children is a definite advantage.
