Grocery Assistant Manager job Blanchardstown. We here at Excel Recruitment have a great opportunity available to join our client in West Dublin as an Assistant Store Manager. Our client runs a successful group of local independent supermarkets with stores all over the country. The store in West Dublin is the largest in the group and employs over 70 staff in this store. We are looking for a supermarket Duty Manager who would like an opportunity of moving into a number 2 role in a busy store where you will have more autonomy and overall input in business decisions. My client has a great track record of promoting within and there are great opportunities available for tenacious and hard-working managers to manage their own store and progress within the business. Our client is offering €30,000 -€35,000k for the candidate. Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager Job: Managing day to day operations of the store. Supporting the store manager running the shop, ensuring the shop is well maintained in the absence of the store manager and while on annual leave. Supporting all department chargehands with operational issues, advising them of changes, monitoring their performances and motivating the teams within these departments. Ensuring the store is kept to high standards at all times, that there is sufficient stock and promotion changeover is handled correctly. Manage the rosters for shop floor and work closely with the Store Manager regarding the other management rosters. Requirements for this Assistant Manager Job: Ideally, you will have, senior supermarket or high volume convenience management background. Experience managing staff, performance management and rostering, motivating staff and driving productivity. Excellent attention to detail required, ability to multitask, problem solver and demonstrate excellent leadership skills. Excellent communication skills. Must be flexible to the business needs.
