Staff Grade Occupational Therapist Rotational Temporary Panel. Application details/procedure: We are seeking dynamic, enthusiastic and self-motivated Occupational Therapists with an interest in rehabilitation to work with our team at the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH. At the NRH we are committed to interdisciplinary working and you will have the opportunity to work closely with other professional colleagues providing a full range of rehabilitation services to patients. Rotations include the NRH Spinal Cord System of Care, Paediatric Programme, Brain Injury Programme, Discharge Liaison OT Service and our POLAR (limb absence) Programme. Additional opportunities are available as an addendum to rotations in our Wheelchair and seating clinic and our Splinting Clinic. There is also an active staff education programme and supervision structure within the department, designed to support staff development. The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office, possess: a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.  If this qualification was gained outside the Republic of Ireland it must have been validated by the Department of Health. She/he must be eligible for membership of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland. It is essential that candidates have a comprehensive understanding and evidence of: • Application of the Occupational Therapy process. • Use of functional assessment and activity analysis. • Experience of the Irish Health Service or equivalent. • Speak English as a first language or hold an IELTS score of 7 or higher. • Must be registered by CORU. It is advantageous that the candidate have: • post qualification experience working as an occupational therapist. • experience working in a rehabilitation setting. • experience working with individuals who have a range of neurological conditions. • documented evidence of Continuing Professional Development. • membership of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland. • Irish Driving Licence.
