Senior Analyst – Asset Valuation. 9-month FTC. Dublin 2. If you would like the chance to work with a global asset manager , this could be the perfect opportunity for you. My client is looking for a Senior Analyst to join their Asset Valuation team on a 9-month maternity cover contract. The Asset Valuation team is responsible for the daily pricing of all securities held by onshore, offshore and institutional funds. The asset types covered include Equity, Fixed Income and Derivative instruments which are valued at multiple valuation points during the day. Day to day responsibilities: Assist in the completion of all Pricing tasks and duties required in order to accurately value all assets held by the company’s funds. Daily checking, investigating and correcting of various security prices using pricing vendors such as Bloomberg and Reuters. Ensure that the department meets daily internal/external deadlines. Sign off security prices which have exceeded set tolerances. Sign off documentation which will be published to other internal/external departments. Requirements: 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role. 3rd level degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant discipline. Good knowledge and understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and Derivative instruments. Excellent numerical skills.
