Our client is seeking a retail manager who has experience running busy retail grocery stores and has a passion to learn and grow within the company. The successful candidate will work closely with the management teams in the stores to drive sales, manage costs, standards, and ensure the management teams in the stores are constantly developing their retail skills. Requirements as an Area Manager. " Excellent communication, planning, organisation and analytic skills. " A full clean driving licence. " Organised, flexible, motivated and a hard-working leader. " Previous experience in a fast-paced environment. " Proven ability to motivate and lead a team. " Strong interest in developing a career in retail. Responsibilities as an Area Manager. " Drive sales through ensuring exceptional store standards. " Implement all new store procedures and sales initiatives. " Optimise availability. " Build relationships to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the business. " Monitor and control operational costs. " Recruit the best possible people for your stores.
