Digital Business Analyst One of my clients within the FS industry with over 170 employees, 28,500 members globally and almost 7,000 students are looking to hire an experienced Digital Business Analyst. It is part of a worldwide community of some two million professionals in 190 countries. They are embarking on a new strategic direction, known as Strategy 24. The business analyst role will be placed within the digital-first department and will report directly to the digital-first director. The digital-first team consists of Digital Change Lead, Digital Transformation Lead, PMO Lead, QA Lead, and Enterprise Architect. The role will involve close collaboration with these individuals. The role They are looking for a Digital Customer Experience Business Analyst with experience in supporting the development of business-critical Front-End applications. This Business Analyst role will be a highly collaborative and business-facing role covering the full software development lifecycle from lean canvas development, requirements gathering and elaboration through to UAT and go-live. They will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation including suppliers, architecture, Web & IT development, and testing teams to ensure the solution delivers the agreed-upon project requirements and meets expectations. Our Digital Strategy is underpinned by several newly established IT functions, namely: Quality Assurance, Infrastructure (Environments), IT Operations, and Business Analysis. We are looking for candidates who can leverage the new methodology and processes as well as bringing their own thought leadership and expertise to the role. Digital Business Analyst Key responsibilities Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders to create a lean canvas to identify the business need, the scope of the project, key stakeholders, key risks, and dependencies. Facilitate workshops with customers and end-users to collaborate on the design and testing of new solutions and/or processes. Gather and agree with end-users the functional and non-functional requirements aligning them towards industry best practice of your business process/software solution. Workwith stakeholders to agree and document detailed design and acceptance criteria for both functional and non-functional requirements and for project deliverables. Executegap analysis against proposed technologies. Assumeresponsibility for planning the requirements gathering and management processes. Organisereview and/or release of the documentation when required. Supportthe development teams by clarifying the requirements and design. Initiate the communication with members of other teams and across the business analysis team to ensure effective implementation of the proposed solution. Required experience & skills Experience in gathering requirements for a digital transformation. Experience ideally in collaborative design with customers and/or end-users. Strong facilitation skills. Experience ideally in writing user stories and product backlog. Can function as Product Owner for development team. Experience with Business Process Modelling & Notation (BPMN. Experience with writing Use Cases. Familiar with Scrum and Agile and ideally the ability to demonstrate thought leadership and coaching in these new ways of working. Industry knowledge in at least one of the following business processes: Collaboration. E-Commerce. Content Management. Customer Relationship Management. Experience of design & implementation of market-leading packages in the above functional areas is a plus, examples below: Collaboration: Google, Office365 or similar. E-Commerce: Hybris, IBM Commerce Server, Oracle ATG or similar. Content Management: Tridion Sites, Drupal, Adobe, WordPress, EPiServer or similar. Customer Relationship Management: Salesforce, SugarCRM, MS Dynamics, Oracle CRM. The successful candidate will have the following: Strong analytical skills. Strong presentation skills.
