PERMANENT CONSULTANT in rehabilitation medicine. Application details/procedure: The National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) is has undergone a major transformation of its facilities and services. Phase 1 of the redevelopment project is now fully operational. The new hospital provides a state of the art, purpose-built rehabilitation hospital facility – the first of its kind in Ireland. It includes 120 single ensuite rooms, rehabilitation – integrated therapy spaces, hydrotherapy, Sports gym, social integration spaces, clinical and ancillary facilities. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following vacancies: PERMANENT CONSULTANT IN REHABILITATION MEDICINE. (FULL TIME – NRH 35.5 HOURS; MATER HOSPITAL 3.5 HOUR PER WEEK. PERMANENT CONSULTANT IN REHABILITATION MEDICINE. (FULL TIME – NRH 35.5 HOURS; BEAUMONT HOSPITAL 3.5 HOUR PER WEEK. PERMANENT CONSULTANT IN REHABILITATION MEDICINE. (FULL TIME – NRH 25.5 HOURS; BEAUMONT HOSPITAL 13.5 HOUR PER WEEK. PERMANENT CONSULTANT IN REHABILITATION MEDICINE. (PART TIME – NRH 19.5 HOUR PER WEEK. FULL TIME APPILCATIONS PERFERRED BUT PART TIME APPLICATIONS MAY BE CONSIDERED. TYPE A CONTRACTS ARE THE NORM FOR REHALILITATION CONSULTANTS. The following professional qualifications shall apply to these appointments: Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of Rehabilitation Medicine or in another field with an aligned speciality in geriatric medicine or neurology who have relevant experience in rehabilitation.
