Finance Commissioning Assistant – Grade V. Application details/procedure: Level:    Grade V. Salary:      €43,628 - €45,019 - €46,408 - €47,797 - €49,186.                     €50,797 – €52,402 LSIs                         LSI1 - After 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum. LSI2 - After 6 years satisfactory service at the maximum  Important Note. Entry will be at the minimum of the scale and the rate of remuneration will not be subject to negotiation and may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. Tenure: Permanent Full Time. Location:    The NTPF is based at Ashford, House, Tara Street, Dublin 2. Hours of work:  Hours of attendance will be fixed but will amount to not less than 43 hours gross per week. Probationary Period: 12 months. The Role. This Grade V will report to the Head of Commissioning in the first instance (in their absence a designated member of the commissioning Executive Team).   The duties of the role will be as defined by the Head of Commissioning in conjunction with the Commissioning Executive Team and may be adjusted in light of changing priorities. The following are requirements of the position: Be capable and competent of fulfilling the role to a high standard; Have obtained at least Grade D3 in five subjects in the Leaving Certification Examination (higher, ordinary, applied or vocational programmes) or equivalent or have passed an examination at the appropriate level within QQI qualifications framework which can be assessed as being of a comparable to Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent or higher or have appropriate relevant experience which encompasses equivalent skills and experience; The ability to determine priorities and organise workloads under pressure in order to achieve tight deadlines. An understanding of and empathy with the health sector and the ability to relate positively with other organisations. Can act on own initiative in changing environments. Knowledge and experience of the Microsoft Office suite of products. Experience of working in a patient related / medical environment or a good working knowledge of medical terminology is desirable. An understanding of public procurement would be an advantage.
