The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission  was established in 2005 and undertakes its functions in accordance with the provision of the Garda Síochána Act 2005 (as amended) and the Garda Síochána (Amendment) Act 2015 (“the Acts”).  The Ombudsman Commission directly and independently investigates complaints against members of the Garda Síochána.  The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) is now seeking a suitably qualified and committed individual to take up the role of Legal Executive in the organisation.  The Legal Executive will play a central role in the provision of organisational and legal support to the Legal team in GSOC. The successful candidate will have membership of the Irish Institute of Legal Executives.
