Description

Senior Investigator – Criminal Competition Enforcement. Application details/procedure: As a Senior Investigator in the Cartels & Gun-jumping Unit, you will be required to play a leading role in investigating alleged breaches of competition law and more specifically criminal investigations into allegations of cartel behaviour or gun-jumping. You will be required to understand the elements necessary to prove cartel and gun-jumping offences and how to investigate such contraventions efficiently, using investigation tools such as conducting cautioned interviews, leading on search operations and inspections, issuing requirements for information, taking witness statements and/or conducting summons hearings. The successful candidate will be expected through desk research, corresponding with industry players and conducting field investigations to quickly establish how markets work. Due to the broad range of issues that may require investigation, you will be required to prioritise work, meet strict statutory deadlines and agreed key performance milestones.
