Description

Head of People. Role Objective: Lead the Human Resource function and support senior leadership of this groundbreaking Fintech platform start up organisation through the next stage of growth. Develop a culture which will support the business as an employer of choice by being a highly engaged and high performing team. You will work in close collaboration with stakeholders in Ireland and Internationally. Responsibilities: Be proactive in identifying people issues and trends within the business and work together with their key stakeholders in order to formulate and implement solutions. Lead and support the execution of HR programs, tools and metrics. Partner with legal and other internal teams as required to thoroughly conduct audits and due-diligence exercises. Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., compensation review, organisational change, performance management, training. Significant hands-on involvement in daily HR activity. Act as a trusted HR partner to the leadership team and employees across the business. Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues such as disciplinary and grievance, absence, performance management and other key HR areas including recruitment, attrition, restructuring and redeployment. Ensure relevant local policies are managed in line with in-country legislation and employment law. Lead any Adhoc HR projects and initiatives that support business strategy. Researching, planning and coordinating all training needs for the company as well as managing performance matters and personal development plans. Maintaining HR systems to ensure correct and up to date staff records including staff numbers, absence/leave, and attendance and monthly reporting to leadership group. Providing support for all Health & Safety matters and ensuring compliance with all H&S legislation. Experience & Behaviours. Proven Experience in a similar HR leaderhip role. Global people management environment. Ability to apply practical HR solutions to complex challenges. Proven experience in implementing and managing change effectively. Track record of guiding and working closely with Senior Managers and their teams. Relationship Building as well as strong interpersonal and influencing skills essential.
