The Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA) was established in 2006 to redevelop the former St. Brendan’s Hospital grounds, 73 acres in Dublin City Centre. We aim to create a vibrant new city quarter in a way that is sensitive to the context of Grangegorman, its surrounding neighbourhood and its existing communities. The challenge is to create a new city quarter incorporating new primary and community health care facilities for the Health Service Executive (HSE), a new consolidated campus for Technology University Dublin (TU Dublin) and new facilities for the local community. This national flagship project is now well underway and we are looking for enthusiastic and innovative individuals to join our existing team to make a new piece of the city with a vibrant sustainable community. The GDA is recruiting for a number of vacancies and looking to set up a number of panels for various roles. The individuals will need a recognised relevant third level or professional qualification in the various disciplines with satisfactory relevant experience. Director of Construction and Infrastructure The Project Director for construction and infrastructure. will be a senior position within the Grangegorman Development. Working on behalf of the Agency, s/he will be responsible for directing all construction and site operation activities on the Grangegorman Site. This includes Construction Health & Safety, Design, Construction, Operation and handover of the Site Infrastructure and Public Realm (SIPR) as well as minor works contracts to deliver high quality projects for the Agency.
