HR Manager Sanderson's cient is a highly successful construction materials, manufacturing organisation with operations in Ireland and the UK who provide award winning bespoke design, installation and service. Role Summary Standalone role responsible for the provision of HR services within the business with a particular focus on the provision of day to day HR operational requirements, employee engagement, talent development and succession planning. Role Responsibilities Provision of day to day HR service delivery, people reporting and analysis to inform decision making and management direction. Maintain HR policies and practices in line with legislation and best practice ensuring they are fit for purpose; well-being, D & I, reward policies. Management of employee relations within a unionised environment seeking to create a positive employer and employee relationship. Manage salary negotiations with Trade Union. Develop the training and development plan working to understand capability gaps and training interventions to close the gaps to ensure high performance across the business. Manage the recruitment and selection needs ensuring that the right capability and calibre is selected into roles and ensuring that there is a consistent onboarding experience for new employees. Deliver robust talent plans that identify gaps and opportunities for succession and resource planning. Adoption and embedding of succession plans for leadership team roles. Ensure the necessary talent and capabilities to meet business needs now and into the future. Diversity & inclusion and Well-being of talent at all levels of the organisation. Embed an appropriate performance management cycle that includes the setting of objectives and expectations and ongoing feedback throughout the year including mid and end of year reviews. Keep abreast of what is happening in the market place regarding compensation and benefits trends to share information with CEO and manage ad hoc projects as and when required. Skills & Experience Experience within a similar role as HR Manager or HR Business Partner. Manufacturing, engineering, construction materials industry knowledge is a plus. Through knowledge of employment law and its application within a unionised environment. Third level education and membership of the CIPD or similar is an advantage.
