INTERIM DIRECTOR OF FUTURE MANUFACTURING IRELAND. Application details/procedure: This is an exciting, newly created senior management position attaching to the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (DETE), which seeks the appointment of an Interim Director to drive the initial establishment of Future Manufacturing Ireland (FMI), an entity established under Ireland’s Industry 4.0 Strategy 2020-2025. The Interim Director will develop a strategic framework for Future Manufacturing Ireland, working closely with a number of Research Centres and Technology Centres (and host institutions) to facilitate a coherent and well-coordinated landscape of supports for advanced manufacturing in Ireland. The role is being offered as a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months. Closing date: 18/03/2021.
