Sanderson has partnered with a leading telecommunications company in search of the Head of Digital, who will be responsible for the tech development of all commercial/advertising features across the company platforms. The role involves developing and implementing appropriate advertising, user data and UX features into the commercial ad-tech stack infrastructure across on demand platforms and strategic planning/development of company's web/app properties across media. Overview. - Focus on advertising feature and functional development across IOS/android applications and the infrastructure. - Define, own and drive the product development roadmap for the company platforms and liaise closely with commercial, operational and content colleagues. - Ensure appropriate governance protocols are in place and 3rd party development service providers. - Build/maintain product development logs,project plans and execute business cases for new features. - Manage global vendors and act as a central resource and escalation point for all advertising feature development work streams and work with senior management team to develop/run new initiatives, business cases and keeping them updated on progress. - Develop and communicate product roadmap and future plans across business stakeholders and liaise with them across organisation to ensure buy-in and understanding of all requirements. - Work with the ad-ops team to ensure consistent and smooth delivery of advertising features and identify opportunities for revenue growth and improvement through innovation, collaboration and development. Duties. - Champion/develop the companies On-Demand and data product propositions to drive market share/revenue growth, both within the business and externally, with key clients and agencies. - Leverage all revenue driving platforms and assist UX development to optimise revenues and yield. - Develop annual development roadmap, strategy and delivery plan for the On Demand product proposition and an annual calendar of key events and campaigns as part of the budget planning process with specific focus on improving ad delivery performance. - Ensure accurate contracting and billing of agreed technical development projects and manage/develop digital platforms team and ensure people are equipped to present and pitch product development and status updates to the business. - Delivery of detailed project plans, quarterly in advance/lead key future revenue driving tech development initiatives and ensure all processes are optimised and continuously improved across sales reporting,product portfolio and sales communication tools. Skills. - Relevant degree. - 5+ yrs digital platforms and Ad Operations exp. and 3+yrs UX development. - Experienced in delivering projects on time, growing the user base and the successful management of 3rd party vendors. - Strong knowledge of ondemand delivery platforms,programmatic practises,digital media market,product offerings, a deep knowledge of data development tools. - Managing and delivering projects/complex programs of activity and the ability to communicate, analyse, develop technical requirements and delivery plans as well as exp. in relationship development/understanding of business and client objectives.
