Description

Learning and Talent Development Specialist. Sanderson are working with their leading client to recruit an experienced Learning and Talent Development Specialist to support the delivery of the People Strategy. This is a great opportunity to join a newly formed team focused on developing employee capability across the organisation. Working as part of an HR Team you will be responsible for developing people strategies and plans to deliver innovative and best practice organisational capability solutions to the business. Core Responsibilities. Work with the organisational capability management team to develop relevant strategies and plans to support the delivery of the people strategy. Design, build and implement capability programmes for all stages of an staff journey. Continuously develop and enhance learning and talent programs, processes and tools ensuring that learning and talent solutions are designed in a logical, structured, and clear manner, reflective of objectives and suited to a variety of learning styles. Collaborate with group stakeholders to diagnose organisational capability development needs and architect innovative learning and performance solutions that increase on-the-job performance. Collaborate and work closely with HR to support the development and implementation of core cyclical process such as performance, talent management and employee engagement programmes. Coordinate with the HR Business Partners and the business to build a diverse talent pipeline for emerging talent & high potential programmes. Develop and implement competency frameworks as required. Work collaboratively with external stakeholders, training providers and bodies. Develop appropriate metrics that evaluate and report on the impact of organisational development, learning and talent programmes. Act as project manager for organisational capability initiatives. Design and deliver innovative organisational capability interventions. Develop programs that include multiple modalities and embed the 70:20:10 of learning. Work with internal communications to ensure all organisational capability initiatives are communicated effectively to employees. Skills, Competencies & Experience. Highly competent in the area of learning and talent management programmes, processes, frameworks and tools for development. Experience in developing and implementing High Potential Programmes. Strong project management, planning, process and policy definition capability. Experienced in the use of digital tools, systems and technology to support learning and talent development. Vendor Management experience of interacting with and managing service providers. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and business partnering capability. Energy and passion to influence stakeholders coupled with excellent communication and facilitation skills. Skilled in psychometric tools. Minimum of a third level qualification in a relevant area. 5+ years previous experience in a similar role focused on organisational development including talent management and development.
