The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has overall responsibility for the administration and enforcement of health and safety at work in Ireland. We make a difference and we are proud of what we do. Every day brings different challenges and opportunities. The Authority is undergoing significant growth as it takes on new and expanding functions and has recently commenced a major programme of organisational development and change management. The Authority is seeking to appoint an experienced HR professional to provide the necessary vision, leadership, and management skills to drive the people agenda to ensure the highest standards of delivery across its broad mandate.  The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the corporate leadership of a HR portfolio in a multi-disciplinary complex organisation and a well-developed understanding of the public sector. In addition, the appointee will have a track record of developing and delivering HR strategy and organisational development programmes, across the broad gambit of operations, policy, systems, implementation, and workforce planning.
